  • “Flash” started at the Events Centre when we opened the doors in October of 2009, but has been working with recreation in Clarenville since 1994.
  • Over the years, Dave has been involved in many community organizations, particularly Clarenville Area Minor Hockey, where he has held all positions of executive.
  • In 2007-2008 Dave was recognized for his outstanding contribution to minor Hockey, winning the RBC Local Hockey Leader award for Newfoundland and Labrador. $10,000 donated to local minor hockey in Dave’s name!
  • Don’t let “Flash’s” nickname fool you!! He’s not as lightning-fast as he once was!
